A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA) was founded in 1972 to support and nurture our community's most vulnerable children and families.
We are dedicated to providing compassionate care to our service area.
CFA is seeking both full-time and part-time Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioners to join a team of nurse practitioners passionate about providing high-quality medical care focused on preventative services and health education of students, families, schools, and communities in our School-Based Health Center Program and Outpatient Medical Services.
Will be working collaboratively with on-site mental health clinicians to provide a holistic approach to care.
We are looking for candidates interested in Full-time and Part-time opportunities to provide medical services to children in our School Based Health Centers at a High School Location (CFA SBHC locations are in New London, Groton, Pawcatuck/Stonington, Ledyard, and Waterford, CT).
This is a reduced (145 day) position to align with coverage during the school-year.
Preference will be given to APRN candidates willing to be considered for a Nurse Practitioner Supervisor capacity with shared clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Graduation from accredited school of nursing; Current APRN license as a PNP or FNP to work in Connecticut; CT RN license required; Bachelor's and Master's degree required.
DNP clinical doctoral degree preferred.
National certification required.
Applicants must be able to perform tasks independently with minimal direct supervision.
Position also requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
