Duties of the Administrative Assistant include prepping for appointments, keeping track of paperwork, handling face to face interactions with clients, assisting in daily office needs, and answering phone calls.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like, Outlook, Excel, Word and the Company's secure database.
A successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation for the Financial Advisor.
Responsibilities Answer and direct phone calls Call clients Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled appointments Maintain a tracking system Update and maintain office policies and procedures Act as the point of contact for clients Make phone calls to Investment and Insurance Companies Prepare and submit forms for insurance products and investment accounts Skills Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task High School degree; experience as an Administrative assistant or Secretary is required Knowledge or experience of financial companies and products is a huge plus Job Type:
