We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a SQL Database Administrator on a full time direct employee basis. In this role, the SQL DBA will be responsible for:
Responsible for overall availability of SQL Server databases and associated systems, using currently available commercial enterprise relational database management systems
Utilizing database replication, security, and availability solutions in designing and implementing Database solutions
Providing platform-specific performance tuning, installation and configuration guidance and expertise.
Monitoring and managing back-up and recovery, and capacity planning for all Database Platforms
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
SQL Database Administration.
Using platform-specific, as well as enterprise, monitoring tools to provide fault and pre-fault performance notifications.
Demonstrable knowledge of SQL scripting language.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
