We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Project Manager on a consulting to full time direct employee basis. In this role, the Project Manager will:
Develop project plans to a prescribed standard and in a software tool defined by the Project Management Office (PMO)
Assist in the resource and financial budget estimation process for potential information technology projects
Measures the progress of the project(s) by monitoring resource hours and financial budget against the base-lined project plan
Generate weekly and monthly project status reports to a prescribed format and standard as defined by the Project Management Office
Negotiate contracts under the supervision of Information Systems Executives and Legal
Escalate issues that will have a material impact on the success of the project to direct supervisor in a timely manner
Identify resource constraints that will have a material impact on the negotiated completion of assigned projects and recommends alternatives and/or trade-offs
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
Two years managing low complexity information systems projects (budgets between $100K and $250K and resource hours between 200 and 1,000 hours)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Demonstrated knowledge of at least one project portfolio management tool (e.g. MS Project Server)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
