SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing technical supply support work necessary to ensure the effective operation on ongoing supply activities utilizing the knowledge of supply operations and program requirements and the ability to apply established supply policies, day-to-day servicing techniques, regulations, and/or procedures to include supply procurement utilizing a government purchase card. Examples of specialized experience may include:
1)Performing technical supply support work such as reconstructing complex supply transactions, resolving discrepancies, conducting extensive record searches to established audit trails, and responding to inquiries; 2) Utilizing automated operating system such as Single Platform MAXIMO to enter, extract, and correct data, retrieve recurring reports, and structure and retrieve specialized reports; 3) Evaluating the suitability of material, procurement lead-time, sources of supply, procurement actions required and cost; 4) Maintaining open communication with customers, vendors, and manufacturer representatives to inquire and/or respond to questions concerning material status, vendor payment, verification of receipt, clarify discrepancies, resolve problems, enlist support and obtain commitments; 5) Utilizing Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) to purchase a wide variety of commercial and technical material and services in support of facility maintenance and repair. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
