1928 Vega Vegaphone Soloist Tenor Banjo made in Boston, Mass, USA Ser. # 93257. Fantastic condition for it age. Features a bound ebony fingerboard with maple neck and gold plated hardware. Some finish checking and scaling throughout. Top of headstock veneer has a small separation and chip on treble side (see close up). There is some lacquer chipping on the thin inlay in the back of the neck from the 4th fret to the heel (see pic), but the neck seems solid and it plays smoothly. The Grover Pat. tuners and tail piece work well. Includes head tuning key and comes in a new locking hard case. Nice piece of American history.

Great EQ, only problem is that it's been sitting around too long. Purchased it for a backup. However my back is out, so I stopped a long time ago. Also the perfect eq for a musicians home stereo. Lost boxes and manuals a long time ago, sure the manual can be downloaded or ordered from the company....
